We hear the term Porn Star so often in the business, but what truly makes one that?  Is it the amount of films or websites you been on?  Or maybe its because you have your own site?  I do not think there is one description that would sum that up.

Being a Porn Star I think means you enjoy your work, you work often and people know your name.  Not all Porn Stars are skinny Jenna girls, I think there are more male porn stars out there that have been in the business longer, even though male talent is paid less then females its a true fact male talent is in the business longer if they are good performers.

Some Porn Stars are even BBWs (Big Beautiful Woman) who have a large following.  So next time you think of a Porn Star know that they come in all shapes, sizes and genders.  Even Transgender has some big name talent so I think people have to see that its not always about being skinny, big boobs and blonde.

I tip my hat to all those who perform, this job may be fun, good money but in the end its still work and sometimes it can wear a person out.  I guess that is why statistics say most girls only last 18 months in the business.  Yet we have seen some ladies who are in their late 40s-50s still going stronge.

As with any job if you have your head on right, don’t blow your money as soon as you make it and have a good reputation you can last as long as you or your body wants you too.

Ok so I was watching Dane Cook’s new special and I am pissed off and I want to share my thoughts with you all.  Now don’t get me wrong, I like Dane Cook but did not like the fact he was pushing a tube site for porn.  I do not think he would like it if there was a site that had all his shit for free and if someone like TMZ came out with a story about it I think he would not be so happy.

Yes the tube sites are out there its nothing new, but come on to push it in your act is fucked up.  Maybe he should work on getting some new things in his act instead of pointing out to the college crowd about that shit.  If you have an opinion on this please leave a comment I will approve real comments without links for this post just to see what others think.

Maybe I am being to touchy on the subject because I work in the adult industry but I think most people I know work their asses off and most of us this is our main source of income and its just fucked up that those stupid tube sites just take other peoples work and do not give a shit about it.

OK I am done bitching about it but had to get that off my chest so to speak.

New talent should always ask questions before taking on any work.  Do not feel that you should have to keep your mouth shut when it comes to adult work, most new talent feel over whelmed when it comes to getting work.  Like any job you should ask what is they want you to do, pay rate, hours and so on.  Now all are subject to some change but good adult employers keep close to their guide lines.

If anyone wants to hire you and you want some questions answered there should be no problems with that at all.  When I hire girls I ask tons of questions, I answer any questions they might have and I always ask new talent to the business if they are sure this is something they want to do.

Always keep in mind that this business can be easy fast cash, but we see it too often that talent will have a change of heart about what they did and want to erase the past.  Be a responsible adult, by choosing to do adult work you take 100% responsibility for your actions.   This means a year from now if you regret what you did do not blame the producers, companies or those around you they did not force you to fuck, suck or be naked.  I find it frustrating when talent who has performed several or even hundreds of times try to blame everyone else but themselves for their actions.

So if you are thinking of becoming an adult performer do not only focus on the money, focus on yourself.  Always know this is a JOB, yes it can be fun, satisfying but in the end its work.

Always keep in mind if someone who wants to hire you will not give you answers to questions you have, most likely you should pass on the position.

Well I am back from my nice vacation in Holland.  If you never been there I do suggest to go its beautiful and the Red Light District is something to see.  Now I am sure you have all seen the changes we have made to Hardcoremodeling and hope you like them.  We took many suggestions from talent and employers to make the site better and more user friendly.  Now employers can see talent pictures way easier too, and yes you still can contact talent directly via the site.

We hope you enjoy the new look and changes but most of all we want everyone to connect and find either the talent they seek or work.  With the economy the way it has been I know things have been tight both for talent and employers but I think if we all ride this bump in the road things will get better soon.  Nothing like this will change over night but slowly things will start to pick up and we will be all riding the wave so to speak.

I scout for both programs for male and female talent and so many new male talent think “wow I am going to have sex with a hot girl today” no matter if “hot” to them is a skinny girl or a bbw. What they do not think about is the hot lights, the other people who are on set, or the fact that the girl they are working with had a full day and she just wants to get the scene over with.

I hate to burst anyones bubble but WAKE up guys, porn is not as easy as you think. Why do you think that you see many of the same male talent over and over again in scenes. Out of 10 guys who enter the adult biz 1 will actually be able to perform. The key word for today is PERFORM, because that is exactly what you are doing, no making love, not impressing the girl, you are there to impress one person the PRODUCER.

Many porn stars have said this, if you can drop your pants, get your dick hard and cum when told you might have a chance. Reality sets in very fast for male performers, you are what most refer to as a stunt cock. No matter what the scene is you must be ready to go and pop when told.

So WHY do most guys want to be in porn? They get paid way less then the girls, they have to do more work then the girls, why? Because most think they will be known as the shit or stud of the pack. Real porn guys can be on set and ready to go in minutes, they don’t need to be told how hot they are, or how big their dick is and yes they enjoy their job, working with woman they find hot and getting paid to do something most guys do for free or have to pay to get their nut off.

In the end guys when you watch that next porn scene and think “WOW I want to be just like him” may I suggest to place every light you have on in your room, invite total strangers over and have one hold a camera and get a total strange girl and see if you can fuck her right on the spot. I can place money on it most would not even come close to filling that challenge.

So guys I give you all credit who want to try, and I bow to those who do this as a job and do it well because if it was as easy as you think we would not have great performers to look up too.
